MI-Environment Health Tool
1/4
This geospatial application called MI-Environment was created in collaboration with the Michigan Technological Research Institute and the University of Michigan School of Public Health. The project includes a geospatial analysis that uses both climate modeling data and public health data to produce a spatial vulnerability index for the state of Michigan. This application allows users to browse a variety of layers including projected climate models to determine their neighborhood's susceptibility to extreme temperatures. The application is part of a larger initiative to build a robust public health application for the entire state of Michigan.
